A person was fatally shot early Sunday in San Francisco’s Mission District, police said.
The shooting was reported at 12:25 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 3000 block of 16th Street, between Mission and Valencia streets.
Officers found two victims on the ground with gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital, where one was pronounced dead. The other had major injuries.
The victim’s names were not released.
Shortly afterward, a 23-year-old man was arrested in Visitacion Valley on suspicion of the shooting, and he was booked into San Francisco County Jail, police said.
