A rescue operation is underway for two US service personnel who went missing during military exercises in Morocco.
The two soldiers disappeared in south-western Morocco after taking part in annual multinational military exercises, the United States Africa Command (Africom) said Sunday.
The US, Morocco and other countries involved in the war games have launched a search and rescue operation to track down the soldiers.
They went missing on May 2 near the Cap Draa training area near Tan Tan, close to the Atlantic Ocean.

Both personnel are with the Army and were on a hike when they are believed to have fallen from a cliff and into the ocean, ABC reports.
Helicopters, drones and naval vessels, as well as mountaineers and divers are all trying to track down the soldiers.
Africom said in a statement: ‘The incident remains under investigation and the search is on-going.’
The exercises started in April and span four countries, including Tunisia, Ghana and Senegal.
African Lion is the largest US joint military exercise on the continent and is run by high-ranking military officials from the US and its allies.
