Alarming CCTV footage, captured on March 17 earlier this year, shows him lose control and barrel into the parked motor.

The brazen officer then flees the narrow residential street, after causing “extensive damage” at around 1.33pm.

He even tried to lie to his manager and a traffic sergeant the following day, claiming there was no crash.

But a Forensic Collision Investigation report concluded PC Adebiyi’s meal was a “sufficient distraction” and there had been “sufficient room” for him to have driven safely.

“Whilst the BMW was protruding from the parking bay, there was sufficient room for the van to pass,” stated the report.

“CCTV footage from the van showed PC Adebiyi was eating from a box on the front passenger seat. This appears to have been a sufficient distraction for PC Adebiyi.”

In a misconduct report, Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor wrote it was “unlikely” the PC had no idea he’d smashed up two vehicles.

He added: “This matter extends beyond the collision itself, to the continued actions in continuing to deny the incident and effectively attempting to cover it up.”

Adebeyi later admitted driving without due care and attention, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report it.

He was dismissed without notice and barred from policing for gross misconduct.

AC Taylor added: “I do of course understand his remorse and am grateful for his acknowledgement of the impact of this matter.

“However, the gravity of PC Adebiyi’s behaviour means that I do not consider that any sanction less than dismissal without notice is justified.”

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “On Sunday, 17 March 2024, he was driving a marked police van.

“Whilst driving he was also eating food which was placed on the empty passenger seat next to him.

“At approximately 1.33pm he collided with a member of public’s stationary vehicle causing extensive damage to both the police vehicle and the parked car.

“On Monday, 18 March 2024, he denied having been involved in a collision to the traffic sergeant and his line manager.

“On Monday, 2 September 2024, he attended Stratford Magistrates’ Court and he pleaded Guilty to Driving Without Due Care and Attention.”

“The Chair found that PC Adebiyi had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct, Honesty and Integrity, and Duties and Responsibilities, and that these breaches amounted to Gross Misconduct,” they added.

It comes as other shocking moments have been caught on camera that left viewers gobsmacked.

This it the terrifying moment a hammer-wielding maniac goes on a rampage through the street as kids flee.

Meanwhile, the chilling moment machete carrying thugs attacked a man in the back of a taxi before the terrified driver raced away was also captured on CCTV.

Elsewhere, people were horrified to watch the “disgusting” moment a McDonald’s worker soaked a homeless man with mop water and kicked his sleeping bag.
