A woman was who was killed in a rollover crash that injured two passenger late Sunday in Douglas on the South Side has been identified.
Kelley N. DeCoda, 36, of South Holland, was driving a vehicle around 11:05 p.m. in the 3200 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive when it rammed into the center median and flipped upside down, Chicago police said.
DeCoda was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 11:37 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Two 29-year-old men who were passengers were injured: one suffered a hip injury and was taken to the University of Chicago in fair condition while the other one wsa taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
A third passenger, a 33-year-old woman, wasn’t hurt but still taken to a hospitalized as a precaution, police said.
Police did not say what caused the crash but the Major Accident unit is looking into that.
