Thanksgiving 2025: These restaurants will be open on the holiday

Many full-service restaurants will be closed on Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, Nov. 27 this year.

But some chains will be open, at least for limited hours, and serving special menus with such favorites as roasted turkey, ham, stuffing and pumpkin pie.

These chains have announced holiday hours on Nov. 27 on their websites, on social media or in news releases. Participation and prices may vary, so check with your local restaurants. Also, it might be a good idea to make reservations if your restaurant takes them.

Acapulco Restaurant & Cantina: An all-you-can-eat buffet will be served 11 a.m.-8 p.m. It will feature turkey and ham carving stations, apple-jalapeño stuffing and chipotle-honey sweet potatoes as well as such favorites as green bean casserole and pumpkin pie. Black Angus Steakhouse: A traditional turkey dinner with pumpkin pie will cost $29.99, $12.99 for children. Hours will be 11 a.m.-9 p.m. blackangus.com

Black Bear Diner: The chain’s website promises Thanksgiving Day with all the trimmings. Most diners are independently owned and holiday hours vary by location. blackbeardiner.com

Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar: Restaurants will be serving three-course dinners with turkey, ham, tri-tip or all three starting at 11 a.m. Prices are $32-$37. claimjumper.com

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Dining rooms will open at their regular times and begin traditional Thanksgiving meals at 11 a.m. The seasonal menu includes turkey and dressing for $11.99 and $16.99 on Thursdays and country-fried turkey through Nov. 26. crackerbarrel.com

El Torito: The buffet is the same as at Acapulco restaurants with turkey, ham and a mix of traditional and spicy side dishes. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Prices are $43.99 for adults and $14.99 for children at most restaurants. eltorito.com

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: The restaurant will serve two-course meals with choice of roasted turkey breast or bone-in rib-eye starting at $59. The full dinner menu will also be available. Hours are 11 a.m-8 p.m. flemingssteakhouse.com

Golden Corral: The chain will be serving its holiday buffet 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving, and some locations will have extended hours. goldencorral.com

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: Thanksgiving dinner includes turkey, ham or both plus pumpkin pie for $34.99. Kids meals are $18.99. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Select items from the regular menu will be available Nov. 26-27. lucillesbbq.com

Norms Restaurants: Traditional four-course meals with turkey or ham will be served 11 a.m.-9 p.m. The cost is $19.99, $13.99 for kids. norms.com

Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Turkey dinners with cranberry relish, choice of side and pumpkin cheesecake cost $52 for adults. A children’s meal costs $24. ruthschris.com

Sizzler: Participating locations will be open regular hours, serving a Thanksgiving plate with roasted turkey breast, sweet potato casserole and other holiday favorites, plus the chain’s signature cheese toast. Prices will begin at $18.99, depending on location. sizzler.com
