The World Cup 2026 is down to quarterfinals, but restaurant chains are still getting into the game.
California Pizza Kitchen is the latest with a pop-up on Friday, July 10. It will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Santa Monica, about a 13-mile drive from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, where Spain is playing Belgium at noon. It will be the last match in Southern California.
CPK’s mobile kitchen will be stationed on Broadway between Second and Fourth streets, serving a special Spain vs. Belgium Pizza, according to a news release. That area is near the Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Place, an outdoor shopping mall.
The Spain vs. Belgium Pizza is one half Spain, with spicy chorizo, and one half Belgium, with smoked ham and endive. It was created by Paul Pszybylski, vice president of culinary innovation for the Costa Mesa-based chain, and won’t be available anywhere else.
