Two people have been airlifted to hospital after a food truck named ‘TNT Tacos’ exploded.
Tiffany and Tim McPherson had been preparing for the day’s work at the truck in Tennessee when they were thrown by the blast.
Tiffany wrote on the couple’s GoFundMe page: ‘From the force of the explosion, I was blown back against the far wall where our sinks are, and I was trapped.’
Her husband Tim, also injured in the explosion, managed to pull his wife out of the fire and to safety.
The couple were airlifted to a local hospital, according to WSMV, where they were treated for severe second and third-degree burns.
Tim suffered burns to his legs, hands, stomach and face, while around 30% of Tiffany’s body was affected, WKRN said.

Tiffany has praised her husband as a hero for going into the fire and pulling her to safety.
‘Tim could’ve easily run out but chose to come back and get me and drag me out,’ she recalled.
‘He had to go through the explosion that was hell before busting us both through the door and saving our lives.’
Huntingdon Fire Chief John Fordon said the department was called around 10.30am on the day of the explosion.
Firefighters arrived quickly and found Tiffany and Tim rolling around on the grass in a bid to stop the fire.
The community has rallied to raise money for the couple, who will have to rebuild their business from scratch.

In an update to the GoFundMe page – which has raised more than $20,000 of its $22,000 target – the couple’s daughter Jada said, quoting Tiffany: ‘Tim and I are survivors, and we are in the process of surviving.
‘We will always be forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support. Thank you, guys, from the bottom of our hearts.’
The couple were just a day away from their 25th wedding anniversary, which they said they celebrated with hospital food.
The couple’s daughter, Jada, said it’s more than likely that her parents will remain in the hospital for a few months for treatment.
Jada said the explosion happened as her father was trying to light the grill, but the cause of the explosion is still being investigated.
