Two British tourists have been killed and others injured after their car rolled over in a crash in Morocco.
The fatal smash happened in the port city of Agadir on the Atlantic coast of Morocco.
Footage shows a car badly damaged, with its roof and doors battered in after the collision, which happened on Sunday.
The driver and two other British tourists were left with injuries of ‘varying severity,’ local media reports.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital.
Their condition and the cause of the incident remains unclear, but authorities have launched an investigation to determine what led ‘to the vehicle’s rollover,’ the Telegraphe reports.
The emergency services were alerted after the crash in the early hours of Sunday morning, with security and civil defence personnel arriving at the scene on Resistance Street, according to Hiba Press.
The two bodies of the victims, who have not been named, were reportedly taken to the hospital morgue.
Crashes in Morocco claimed 3,201 lives in 2022, while 113,740 people were injured that year, according to the International Transport Forum.
