Two vehicles crashed leaving one fully engulfed in flames and leaving two people dead on I-88 in Aurora early Wednesday, state police said.
Few details were available about the deadly crash, which occurred at 12:45 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Eola Road, according to a statement from ISP.
Names and ages of the two people killed, who were dead on the scene, were not released, ISP said.
All eastbound lanes in the area reopened about 5:25 a.m. and traffic was getting through after the wreck, which was still being investigated.
