Two men were killed in separate shootings two hours apart Thursday morning on the city’s Southwest Side and West Sides.
Most recently, a 54-year-old man was found shot about 8:20 a.m. outside in the 3900 block of West 86th Street in Ashburn suffering from gunshot wounds to the body, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hosp9ital, where he was pronounced dead.
Earlier, at 6:15 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Flournoy Street in Garfield Park, a 19-year-old man was getting into his car when several assailants armed with guns exited a blue car and confronted the 19-year-old and shot him, police said.
The gunmen fled and the 19-year-old was pronounce dead at the scene, after suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the body, police said.
No one was arrested and area detectives are investigating both homicides.
