TWO women have been arrested after a roofer says he had acid hurled at him – leaving him “unrecognisable”.
John Chapman, 36, claims he was targetted and has now been left with horror injuries that he fears will scare his baby.

The roofer exclusively told The Sun that he had been working in Aldenham, Herts when he was ambushed by masked assailants.
They threatened him with knives, the launched a corrosive substance — causing facial injuries.
As John tried to wash his face in a sink, he says they threw more over his back.
The 36-year-old said of the attack, which happen on March 19: “I could only see their eyes and hear their voices, but I know who did it.
“It was clearly a targeted attack.”
He was taken to a specialist burns unit but has been warned he’ll “never look the same again”.
John added: “I’m unrecognisable.
“What if I scare my 11-month-old baby?”
Cops said last week they were hunting for two women after the horror attack.
Hertfordshire Police today confirmed they had two women, aged 34 and 31, in custody.
The women were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH), being in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and for being in possession of firearms in a public place.
Detective Inspector Claire Richardson-Wabe of the Safeguarding Command who is the Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) said: “I am grateful to bring this arrest to the attention of the public.
“It has been a complex investigation since it was reported, and it has involved significant resources including specialist teams and the Local Crime Unit in Hertsmere.
“I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed the incident or has any vital information which may help our investigation to get in touch.”
