UKRAINIAN women in Russian-occupied territories have reportedly lured enemy troops to their deaths with poisoned cakes.
Female civilians are said to be playing a key role in the resistance efforts, including acting as honeytraps to Moscow’s starving, lonely soldiers.

Instead of sexual favours, a preferred assassination tactic in one area torn apart by war was gifting tampered food to unsuspecting squaddies.
The northeastern city of Izium, which was under brutal Russian occupation for five months at the start of the war, became the site of fierce resistance.
In the first days of the occupation, two Russians were killed and 28 hospitalised when locals gave them poisoned cakes, resistance forces told the Daily Mail.
The cake plot followed a report in September 2022, that Ukrainian hackers were catfishing Putin’s forces with fake accounts of attractive women.
The frontline soldiers were being tricked into handing over classified information including photos that could then be geolocated.
That intelligence was then being handed over to Ukraine’s military and used to guide precision strikes on enemy targets.
“The Russians, they always want to f***,” the head of a hacker collective, Nikita Knysh, told the FT.
“They send [a] lot of s*** to ‘girls,’ to prove that they are warriors’.”
The lucrative tactic appears to have been continued.
Other reports detail how Ukrainian women have been trapping unwitting Russian troops using AI-generated profiles of Russian women on dating apps.
Last summer, two women revealed how they spend their spare time talking to hoards of Russians stuck in the trenches in the hope they hand over secrets.
Anything interesting, including troop numbers, equipment, recent attacks and movements, gets fed straight back to Ukraine’s military.
“Some of them are really desperate and become so in love with us that they ask us to marry them in a few days or in a few weeks,” one woman told The Times.
“I had some situations where my orcs stopped replying after I passed on some information, but I can’t say if it’s connected,” another revealed.

Across the occupied territories, brave men and women are risking their lives to smuggle out secrets to Ukrainian intelligence, including photographing enemy barracks, bases and weapons and ammunition stores.
But other sabotage operations have been more direct.
Guided by Ukrainian security services, a huge network of spies has been blowing up railways, factories and communication infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Russian soldiers and collaborators have been blown up or gunned down in the street.
Last September, a Russian general was seriously wounded after being given an alleged “exploding phone” by Ukraine’s secret service.
And in November 2023, two Russian security officials were blown up in a brazen car bombings and left fighting for their lives in occupied Luhansk.
The same month, a pro-Russian Ukrainian lawmaker was killed in another car bombing.
Ukraine’s military intelligence (GUR) claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they worked with local partisans to pull it off.
Less than 24 hours later, a second Ukrainian traitor MP was assassinated.
In response to the spate of attacks on Vlad’s stooges, a GUR representative told Politico at the time: “All war criminals will be punished.”
It comes as Ukraine released footage pver the weekend of a sabotage team destroying an £8million military chopper on Putin’s doorstep.
The incredible operation led to the multi-purpose Ka-32 being set ablaze on the tarmac at Ostafyevo military airfield in Moscow.
Dramatic footage has also emerged showing the moment a Ukrainian pilot used an iPad in the cockpit of a jet to launch Western missiles.
The pilot was seen in the video carrying out “Wild Weasel” operations in an airborne Su-27 Flanker aircraft, meaning he was baiting enemy anti-aircraft defences into attacking his aircraft with their radars.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Flanker – which was fitted with an iPad – was conducting strikes against Russian radars with US-supplied AGM-88 High-speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARMs).
And on Friday night, a Russian military airfield and two oil refineries in Vladimir Putin’s favourite holiday spot were blitzed by Ukrainian forces.
Footage showed a Russian aerial bomb-making warehouse destroyed after dozens of kamikaze drones struck Krasnodar region in a nighttime raid.
