A ground stop was issued for American Airlines at O’Hare Airport on Monday afternoon when an unattended bag was found.
According to Chicago police, a canine handler responded to a call of an unattended bag about 12:50 p.m. at Terminal 3 in the first block of West Terminal Street.
A bomb squad was called and determined there was nothing dangerous in the bag, police said.
A ground stop was issued at 2:15 p.m. for all American Airlines flights, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The ground stop was lifted at 3:30 p.m.
