UNION CITY — A moviegoer was wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning inside a theater, authorities said.
Police said the adult male who was shot was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened about 12:50 a.m. Wednesday inside a theater at Century Theaters, 32100 Union Landing Blvd., police said in a release.

Police said responding officers cleared the theater complex of all threats and evacuated the facility.
Several patrons got into a disturbance inside the theater prior to the shooting, authorities said. During the dispute, a suspect fired a handgun. No one else was injured.
Police have not said what prompted the disturbance. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
