Universal Studios Hollywood 2026: All the after-hours events and seasonal festivals
The Universal Studios Hollywood calendar will be bursting with seasonal events from Fan Fest Nights to Halloween Horror Nights to the Christmas winter holidays as the movie theme park looks ahead to 2026 and rolls out its lineup for the year ahead.
The Hollywood theme park has a full lineup of seasonal events planned for 2026.

Fan Fest Nights returns for a second year with the Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters mash-up plus other experiences dedicated to sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and anime fandoms.

The separate admission, after-hours event will run on select nights from April 23 through May 16.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will host Butterbeer Season in March, April and May and the Back to Hogwarts event in August and September.

Universal Mega Movie Summer will return to celebrate upcoming blockbuster films and cinematic anniversaries at the Hollywood theme park.
Last summer the Mega Movie festival celebrated the Jaws, Back to the Future, Jurassic World, Fast & Furious, How to Train Your Dragon and Wicked film franchises.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 will return with a new lineup of haunted mazes and scare zones along with the Terror Tram on select nights from Sept. 3 through Nov. 1 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Horror Nights 2025 featured marquee mazes dedicated to Fallout, Friday the 13th, Terrifier, Five Nights at Freddy’s and Poltergeist. New mazes for 2026 are expected to be announced during the summer.
The separate-admission Horror Nights event is not included with daily admission to Universal Studios Hollywood.

The year wraps up with 2026 Holidays at Universal in November and December and the Eve event on Dec. 31 celebrating the arrival of 2027.
