Halloween Horror Nights will team up with Fortnite to turn the video game’s annual Halloween-inspired battle royale into a theme park scare zone at Universal Studios Hollywood.
A new Fortnitemares scare zone will join the Halloween Horror Nights 2026 lineup running on select nights from Sept. 3 through Nov. 1 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Fortnitemares is an annual in-game event that brings together Fortnite characters and horror-themed gameplay every Halloween season in the online multiplayer video game.
The Fortnitemares scare zone will take visitors through the Freaky Fields haunted farm from the Fortnite: Battle Royale video game.

Concept art for the Horror Nights scare zone shows the Skull Trooper, Hollowhead and Curdle Scream Leader characters from Fortnitemares.
Additional Fortnitemares characters will make exclusive appearances in the Horror Nights scare zone.

The Battle Bus aerial vehicle from Fortnitemares that transports players into battle via a flying school bus with a large hot air balloon will be featured in the Horror Nights scare zone.
Universal has already announced four haunted mazes based on Stranger Things, Sinners, Evil Dead and Hellraiser will headline Horror Nights 2026 along with multiple scare zones and the Terror Tram.

Halloween Horror Night tickets for Universal Studios Hollywood start at $77 for general admission with season passes ranging from $179 to $299.
