After playing a defensive masterpiece in the Golden State Warriors’ huge comeback OT victory over the Denver Nuggets Thursday night, Draymond Green’s daughter Cash, 5, was not impressed. Instead, she scolded Green after the game and said “Daddy you were ignoring me over there.”
Green’s typical tough exterior melted away as he responded to her “I did not hear, I’m so sorry,” and gave her a hug. And it seems like all was forgiven when he added, “I like your shoes.”
Green definitely had a lot to be distracted by scoring 13 points with 8 rebounds and 8 assists, but most importantly helped key a fourth-quarter flurry that led to the 137-131 OT win.
Green has four children with wife Hazel Renee: Olive Jay,11, Draymond Jamal Jr., 8, Cash, 5, and Hunni, 1.
