The Cubs and Brewers are set to face off at 8:08 p.m. CT Thursday in Game 4 of the National League Division Series at Wrigley Field. The game will air on TBS.
For the second time this postseason, the Cubs had to wait until the conclusion of a late-night West Coast game to find out when they’d play the next day.
The Phillies beat the Dodgers 8-2 Wednesday to force a Game 4, which ensured the Cubs and Brewers would get the 8:08 p.m. time slot Thursday, rather than 6:08 p.m.
Neither the Cubs nor Brewers had announced their Game 4 starting pitcher as of the conclusion of the Phillies and Dodgers’ game Wednesday.
The Cubs trail the Brewers 2-1 in the best-of-five series. The home team staved off elimination Wednesday with a 4-3 win at Wrigley Field.
