Tasmin Glass was convicted of culpable homicide and sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2019.

The jury found that she was guilty in planning the fatal attack.

Her co-accused Steven Dickie and Callum Davidson were convicted of murder and sentenced to a life sentencing.

In an interview for Channel 4’s documentary Murder Case: The Digital Detectives Nicola Annan, Detective Constable of Police Scotland, said:

“I went to the cafe where Tasmin was working.

“During this time Tasmin’s behaviour I would say was quite bizarre.

“She continued to make up sandwich fillers and spread rolls and have general chit-chat.

“Bearing in mind this is her boyfriend who has been brutally murdered and she is standing there mixing up her tuna and onion.

She continued with describing Tasmin Glass as “a very devious deceitful individual”.

“If you listen to the community she led a normal life but that’s far from how I would describe her.

“She set Steven up for this to happen to him.”

After serving five years in prison Tasmin could be released in May 2024.

The Scottish Sun reported that she is being considered for parole.

A statement from the family given to STV News said: “We have responded, objecting in the strongest possible terms to any bid to free her at this stage in her sentence.

“We do not believe she should be granted parole given the significance of the crime she committed and the impact it has had on us as a family and on the wider community.”
