A woman was fatally shot by a fellow passenger on a private bus early Saturday in Fuller Park on the South Side.
The woman, 40, was stepping off a bus in the 5400 block of South Shields Avenue when a passenger sitting inside pulled out a gun and shot her around 12:40 a.m., Chicago police said.
She was struck in the thigh and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said. Her name hasn’t been released.
No arrests were made.
