A woman was fatally shot by a fellow passenger on a private bus early Saturday in Fuller Park on the South Side, Chicago police said.
Odeal Curley, 40, was stepping off the bus in the 5400 block of South Shields Avenue when a passenger sitting inside pulled out a gun and shot her around 12:40 a.m., according to the police and Cook County medical examiner’s office.
She was struck in the thigh and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests were made.
