A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault after a woman was found dead in Denver’s Hampden neighborhood late Friday night, police officials said.
The woman was found in the 8600 block of East Yale Avenue, according to the Denver Police Department. Glendale police were the first officers on scene, and Denver police responded at about 11:15 p.m., according to the agency.
Craig Wolfgang was arrested on suspicion of assault in the case.
Additional information about the woman’s death, including why police were first called to the scene and where the woman was found, were not available Saturday, Denver police said.
The woman’s name and cause of death will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
