A woman was taken to the hospital after she was stabbed on a Regional Transportation District bus in Aurora on Wednesday afternoon, police officials said.
Aurora Police Department officers responded to the stabbing at 4:11 p.m. near East Colfax Avenue and Potomac Street, spokesperson Joe Moylan said.
The woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, Moylan said.
Police are actively searching for the suspect, but did not provide any additional information about that person.
