All the Aces and Highlights from the 2026 Masters Par 3 Contest

The Masters Par 3 Contest is always full of excitement, and this year’s edition did not disappoint. Players delivered multiple aces and plenty of memorable moments throughout the round.

Last year’s contest produced three aces: Tom Hoge on No. 4, and both Keegan Bradley and Brooks Koepka on No. 6. Nico Echavarria captured the victory with a 5-under par.

Here’s all the aces at the 2026 Masters Par 3 Contest, and who ended up on top.

All the Aces

Justin Thomas kicked off the day with an ace on Hole 2, instantly turning heads. His reaction sparked rumors of friendly side-bets, fueled by his playful response when questioned. Interestingly, this was Thomas’s first Par 3 ace in a decade, his last taking place in 2016.

Wyndham Clark followed with a hole-in-one on No. 7, adding to the growing excitement on the course. He later revealed that he blacked out after the achievement. He also shared that he had his girlfriend as caddie for the day.

Then, Clark’s playing partner Bradley continued the streak with an ace on Hole 8, making history as the first player to hit aces in consecutive Par 3 contests. Celebrating alongside his sons and playing partner Gary Woodland, Bradley’s enthusiasm added another memorable moment in Masters history. Clark then confirmed that him and his playing partners had some money on the game, leading to an expensive day for Woodland, who was the only one of the trio to not make a hole-in-one.

With Bradley’s ace, the 2026 tournament saw a brief tie with last years number, with plenty of golf left to be played.

Not an ace, but Brian Harman’s daughter, Cooper, made one of the more impressive putts of the day with a nearly 20-footer. When asked about the day, she said with a smile: “It’s like we’re inheriting golf.”

Then, later in the day on the 4th hole, Tommy Fleetwood saw the 4th ace drop. According to him, he hadn’t hit the green prior to that shot. Him and his son Frankie have made headlines ahead of the Masters Par 3 thanks to Frankie’s determination to clear the water on the 9th.

2026 Masters Par 3 Contest

The Masters Par 3 Contest was also full of big names beyond the professional golfers. Retired NFL player Jason Kelce arrived in style and interacted with patrons during the day. He even caddied for Akshay Bhatia, who let Kelce take a shot on the 9th hole. He later told Bhatia “give it a little tush-push,” when instructing him on how to putt as a funny callback to his NFL days with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bryson DeChambeau arrived with Kevin Hart as his caddie. He called the day ‘great for the game,’ a theme he has been vocal about as of late. The duo brought a light-hearted, joke-filled energy to the course. Hart also took a swing on the 9th hole, but found the water.

Aaron Rai ended the round with a 6-under and currently holds first place at the Masters Par 3 Contest.

Throughout the day, the players were all smiles and able to relax knowing that the first round of the Masters is set to begin tomorrow at Augusta National Golf Club.
