Amon-Ra St. Brown Injury Update: Lions WR Goes Down in Christmas Game

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown went down in the team’s Christmas game, suffering an injury in the closing seconds.

St. Brown was hurt while going up for a pass late in the fourth quarter against the Minnesota Vikings. He appeared to fall awkwardly, hurting his leg. He was tended to be the team’s medical staff and later seen walking to the locker room.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Has Been Ailing

St. Brown had been dealing with some nagging injuries leading up to the team’s Christmas evening game, suffering a leg injury on Thanksgiving but not missing any time. St. Brown had been listed as questionable for Thursday’s game.

As the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported before the game, the Lions had a number of ailing players, but St. Brown was considered good enough to play.

“Amon-Ra St. Brown officially questionable, as is… basically the whole roster,” Rapoport wrote in a post on X. “St. Brown seems to be in a good position to play.”

The All-Pro wide receiver had eight receptions for 68 yards in the game. The Lions lost 23-10, ending their long-shot hopes of making the playoffs.
