JAK JONES made an awkward gaffe during his World Snooker Championship final defeat to Kyren Wilson.
Jones, 30, fell to an 18-14 defeat at the Crucible after suffering the worst start to a final for 33 years as he went 8-0 down.

The Welshman managed a strong comeback to get the score to 17-11 but appeared to forgot snooker protocol in the final session of the world championship match.
Having won another frame to make it 17-12, an interval was called so the players could unwind and go to their dressing rooms.
However, Silent Assassin Jones appeared to not realise this and went over to take his seat by the table.
After a moment he was ushered away and towards the stage exit.
Qualifier Jones seemed to see the funny side of the ordeal, as he was seen with a beaming smile as he walked off.
BBC‘s commentator could be heard letting out a little chuckle as they said: “He’s sitting down.
“I don’t think he realises it’s the interval, but it is.
“Kyren Wilson has the advantage as they go off. You’re still in it Jak.”

After play resumed Jones managed to get his score up to a respectable 14 frames before Wilson finally won a decisive 18th frame to claim a first ever World Championship Snooker title.
Following the final, Jones said: “Congratulations to Kyren and his family. They deserved it so much.
“An unbelievable tournament for me. A month ago, I was twitching in my first qualifying match. I am happy with that.
“I thought if I would try tried my best and see what happens but Kyren is solid and has a good all-round game. It wasn’t to be.”
