MARK WILLIAMS has called out the BBC after an awkward live TV blunder.
The Welshman was made aware of a mistake during his World Snooker Championship opener at the Crucible.

Williams faced China’s Si Juahui in Sheffield on Monday and Tuesday, leading 5-4 after the opening session.
At the end of the first nine frames, the BBC coverage displayed the scores from the day on screen.
The players’ nationalities were also displayed next to their names, only for the English flag to appear next to Williams instead of the Welsh.
A viewer sent proof of the blunder to the three-time world champion on X, prompting him to reply with two covered face emojis.
Meanwhile, others also spotted the error, with one fan writing: “Cmon BBC ffs get the Welsh Dragon on there.”
The BBC are yet to respond to the mistake or issue an apology.
It comes after a mix-up relating to Shaun Murphy occurred earlier in the tournament.
A player profile for the Magician listed his hometown as “Dublin, England”.

Murphy resides in the Irish capital and has ties to the country but was born in Essex and represents England.
Williams met Si in the opening round at the Crucible, with fellow Welshman Jak Jones awaiting the winner in round two.
The Welsh Potting Machine faced another awkward moment before the match, though.
MC Rob Walker joked Williams, 49, was old enough to be his 21-year-old opponent’s dad as he introduced the players.
Williams let out a smile and raised his eyebrows in response to the joke, which prompted laughter from the crowd.
