Bills Improve Record To 8-1 When Sean McDermott Wears Glasses

This is perhaps the statistic that provides the single most important correlation with success in the history of the Buffalo Bills organization.

Some no-nonsense analysts over at CBS Sports made a ground-breaking discovery during the Bills’ matchup with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

But I warn you, you may want to sit down for this.

So far in 2025, the Buffalo Bills are 8-1 when head coach Sean McDermott wears glasses.

Conversely, the team is a measly 3-3 when the head coach does not.

Think back to the Bills’ last loss on November 20th to the Houston Texans.

Anything stand out to you?

No glasses.

He has worn glasses in each of the Bills’ last four games, and is, perhaps, the only person Buffalo has to thank for the Bills’ push for the AFC’s first seed.

We are not sure what sort of magic his glasses hold, but one thing is for sure. If you see Coach McDermott on the opposing sideline in a pair of bifocals, you’d better bring your A-game.
