The Buffalo Bills are in do-or-die mode as they continue to scratch and claw for an AFC playoff bid. They have a giant opportunity this weekend to eliminate a quarterback and team that has ended one of their playoff runs in the past, the Cincinnati Bengals.
It will be no easy task, however, as today’s injury report confirmed that the Bengals would have their full arsenal.
Defensive end Trey Hendrickson is the only big name on the inactive list. Star wide receiver Tee Higgins, who missed last week’s win with a concussion, has been a full participant since Wednesday and is expected to take the turf on Sunday.
Additionally, quarterback Joe Burrow, who made his return to the lineup on Thanksgiving, will once again give it a go after recovering from surgery to address a torn ligament in his foot. This will be Burrow’s fourth start of the season.
Chase Brown and Ja’Marr Chase will be at full health on Sunday.
Buffalo Bills Still Beat Up
The Bills have not had any luck on the injury report. Unlike the Bengals, who saw their star recover, the Bills will be without defensive end Joey Bosa and linebacker Terel Bernard.
A.J. Espenesa was a full participant on Friday, but his status also seems up in the air ahead of the heavyweight bout.
Speaking of heavyweights, offensive lineman Spencer Brown has also had his status changed to questionable as he continues to deal with an ugly-looking shoulder injury he suffered on prime time against the Houston Texans.
Brown missed last week’s win.
Continuing with the bad news, starting tight end Dalton Kincaid has earned the same designation. Kincaid is questionable with a hamstring and knee, but has been a limited participant all week.
Considering the magnitude of the New England Patriots game in two weeks, Buffalo is not expected to rush any of these players back.
Finally, wide receiver Joshua Palmer has not participated in a single practice this week and is doubtful for Sunday.
