Two boxing fans watched Mike Tyson’s comeback defeat to Jake Paul from ringside seats which cost $2 million (£1.5m).

The drab fight between 58-year-old Iron Mike and 27-year-old Paul, a YouTuber turned boxer, was met with boos by fans inside the AT&T Stadium at the final bell.

Tyson simply struggled to keep pace with an opponent who was 31 years younger than him and the lack of intensity in the fight angered those inside the stadium, as well as those battled through buffering issues to watch on Netflix.

But those who purchased VIP ringside seats may be the ones who feel the most aggrieved given their cost.

Fans who wanted the VIP treatment had a variety of packages to select from, with seats priced between $5,000 (£3,964) and $20,000 (£15,856).

But for the top package – labelled as the MVP Owner’s Experience – fans needed to fork out a whopping $2m (£1.5m).
