The Cleveland Browns are tracking toward seller status ahead of the November 4 trade deadline, and there are a handful of prominent names who could be on the move.
Jared Mueller of SB Nation named 10 trade candidates to watch in Cleveland, the most notable being four-time Pro Bowler and offensive guard Wyatt Teller.
“[Teller is] the player that could bring back the biggest return,” Mueller wrote Saturday, October 11. “Having Teven Jenkins and Zak Zinter on the depth chart could allow both guards to be traded.”
Teller is a four-time Pro Bowler (2020-23) and a two-time All Pro (2020-21) and playing in the final season of his $56.8 million contract.
At just 30 years old, Teller could still have a considerable number of seasons left in his playing future. A handful of offensive lines across the NFL could use a talent upgrade on the interior like the one Teller represents.
Browns Could Consider Trading Joel Bitonio, Though He May Need to Request Deal

Mueller also mentioned Cleveland’s other starting guard, Joel Bitonio, as a potential trade candidate inside the next three and a half weeks.
Bitonio turned 34 on Saturday and is playing in his 12th professional season in 2025. As decorated as Teller is as a player, with a potential Hall of Fame resumé already, Bitonio’s list of accolades is even more impressive.
He has earned Pro-Bowl nods in each of the past seven seasons and made an All-Pro team in five of those years. Bitonio is a Browns lifer, playing his entire career with the team to this point, and like Teller is also in the final year of his current contract and could consider retirement next offseason or the spring after.
Mueller asserted on Saturday, however, that a trade “only happens if Bitonio wants to be moved for, perhaps, his final season in the NFL.”

If Cleveland does move on from Teller or Bitonio, it probably won’t happen until the deadline gets closer.
The Browns just made a huge change under center, going with rookie Dillon Gabriel as the starting QB in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings and then trading Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this week. Meanwhile, fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders elevated into the role of backup quarterback.
So, with it a near certainty that a first-year signal-caller will be starting for the remainder of the year in Cleveland, it would make sense for the Browns to hold onto their pair of elite offensive guards until the last possible minute — then cash in on one, or both, in order to continue stacking draft picks.
Cleveland already owns two first-rounders in 2026, its own and one formerly belonging to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Browns picked up a fifth-rounder from the Las Vegas Raiders in return for Kenny Pickett ahead of the regular season, then turned Flacco and a sixth-rounder into another fifth-round selection next year.
The franchise is already starting five of the seven rookies it drafted in 2025, all of them playing significant roles in meaningful positions incredibly early in their respective careers. The youth movement is likely to continue next offseason, which could include another quarterback and/or potential longterm replacements for Teller and/or Bitonio.
