The Kansas City Chiefs owner and CEO Clark Hunt’s offseason just got a lot more exciting. His eldest daughter, Gracie Hunt, is officially engaged.

The Chiefs heiress announced that she’s set to wed Derek Green. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on April 4. They wrote, “It was always you 💍❤️♾️…

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.”

Gracie’s little sister, Ava Hunt, commented, “I am overjoyed 💍🤍.” Gracie’s mom, Tavia Hunt, wrote, “DREAMS DO COME TRUE!! 😍❤️💍 Congratulations you two!! We love you so much!!!🎊”

Green, son of former Chiefs quarterback Trent Green, who played for the franchise from 2001-2007, went all out for the proposal and splurged on a stunning engagement ring.

Both Gracie and her future husband graduated from Southern Methodist University. Green works as the senior manager of sports and entertainment at Creative Planning in Dallas, Texas. As for Gracie, the influencer looks to take over the family business one day. The Hunt family has a reported net worth of $24.8 billion, per Forbes.


Gracie Hunt & Derek Green Hard Launched Their Relationship in April 2025 With a Nod to Taylor Swift

After posting photos of Green without tagging him, the couple went public with their relationship in April 2025. She posted a video at Arrowhead Stadium and wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time, “After meeting 7.5 years ago in this place… all along there was some invisible string.”

The caption is a nod to Taylor Swift’s song, “Invisible String,” from the album “Folklore,” released in 2020.

Green, 26, and Gracie, 27, have been inseparable ever since. Hunt wrote a tribute to her future husband on his birthday in September. She wrote on Instagram, “Happy birthday to my best friend! 🥳 Cheers to 26 and your best year yet! I love you ❤️.”

The former pageant queen also referred to herself as “President of the DG fan club ❤️” in March.

Before finding love with Green, Gracie dated Christian Calhoun “Cody” Keith, who played quarterback at East Carolina University. As a reserve, Keith appeared in a total of three games with the Pirates during the 2013 season. He completed a total of seven passes for 57 yards.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Keith attended Maranatha High School in Pasadena, California, where he led the Minutemen to a 9-3 record his senior year. He recorded 157 passes for 2,212 yards and 21 touchdowns.

While Keith never made it onto an NFL roster, he attended training camps with the Washington Commanders, Indianapolis Colts, and Baltimore Ravens, according to his LinkedIn profile. He eventually joined the family business, The Keith Corporation, in 2019, a real estate company with “projects exceeding $5.8 billion in value.”
