Palmer joined Chelsea last summer in a £42.5million transfer from Manchester City and signed an eight-year deal upon his arrival in west London.

He enjoyed a stellar debut season with the Blues, scoring 27 goals and assisting 15 in 48 appearances.

The midfielder’s impressive form also saw him earn his first senior England call-up.

Palmer made his Three Lions debut in November and has since been capped nine times.

He was included in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad for Euro 2024 this summer and set-up Ollie Watkins’ winning goal in the semi-final against Netherlands.

The Chelsea ace also scored for England in the European Championship final, but the Three Lions narrowly missed out to Spain in the late stages.

Following his successful season, Palmer has been nominated for both the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award and PFA Young Player of the Year award.

As well as offering the 22-year-old a new contract, Chelsea have signed several new players ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Pedro Neto completed a £54m move from Wolves last week, becoming the 35th signing of the Todd Boehly era.
