After a devastating loss to the Chicago Bears on Black Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles are ready to get back on track, and they took things to extreme measures ahead of their Monday night matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Athletic’s Zach Berman shared a photo from inside the Eagles locker room on Saturday, showing a giant blow-up Easter bunny right in the middle. And with that, the explanation given for having it there: “spreading positivity and good vibes.”
NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Ashlyn Sullivan added that the “offensive line stressed to me they are not sad they just wanted a good vibes bunny.”
A positive environment in the locker room is always a good thing, but this particular choice had people a little confused considering it’s December, so the expectation would be to have something more themed towards the upcoming holidays. Instead, they went with Easter, which isn’t until April.
But hey… whatever works!
Fans React To Eagles’ Locker Room Addition

Fans were loving this interesting display by the Eagles!
“If the Eagles go on a win streak watch for all the NFL locker rooms to look like the Macy Thanksgiving Day parade,” one person posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“A locker room bunny as the new morale captain? If that fluffy mascot helps the Eagles block negativity as well as they block defenders, this might be the most effective mid-season adjustment yet,” another person wrote.
Eagles’ Path To Playoff Just Got a Bit Easier

The Cowboys are the only team threatening the Eagles on their path to win the NFC East. However, with Dallas’ loss on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions, it gave Philadelphia a little additional breathing room with five weeks remaining in the regular season.
According to The Athletic’s NFL playoff simulator, the Cowboys had a 23 percent chance of making the playoffs if they won on Thursday. However, since they lost, they now only have a 9 percent chance, with their hopes of winning the NFC East dropping to 4 percent. The Eagles on the other hand, saw an increase in their percentage by two, now having a 96 percent chance of winning the division.
For the Cowboys to overtake the Eagles at the top of the division, they would have to win their four remaining games against the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders, and New York Giants. That would put their final record at 10-6-1.
The Eagles, who currently sit at 8-4, need 11 total wins to clinch the division title, meaning they need three wins in their five remaining games.
Here’s Why An NFL Analyst is Comparing Eagles’ Current Struggles to 2023 Season
The Athletic released their weekly roundtable article, with Zak Keefer providing some interesting insight into why this season is similar to another recent year.
“I picked the Eagles last week, believing in the champs’ ability to find some offensive cohesion against a Bears team I wasn’t totally buying. I was dead wrong. This Philly season is starting to feel a lot like 2023,” he wrote. “The vibes aren’t right. The frustration is building. The offensive creativity, let alone cohesion, simply isn’t there. It starts on early downs, where the Eagles consistently find little success. Patullo is an easy scapegoat, but there’s more to this. Maybe Lane Johnson’s eventual return will save them, but I wouldn’t be stunned if the Chargers hand them another loss Monday — assuming Herbert makes it back.”
