The sprint race in China also saw a fourth different winner, with Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton taking home victory in that race.

Bahrain had opened the F1 calendar during Australia’s Covid situation between 2021-2024, with the 2020 Australian Grand Prix being cancelled.

But, the race down under opened this season, with Bahrain having to settle for fourth on the calendar in 2025.

McLaren’s Norris will be looking for a big response after being unable to overtake Verstappen at Suzuka last time out.

Verstappen, however, will be looking to overtake Norris and take the lead of the Drivers’ World Championship.
