The fourth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (10-1)Â are set to take on the No. 23 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (9-2) on Black Friday, as college football’s rivalry weekend gets underway with a loaded slate this afternoon.
Georgia has already closed out its SEC schedule, and last Saturday featured the Bulldogs defeating UNC Charlotte 35-3. As for the Yellow Jackets, their College Football Playoff hopes took a huge dip with a 42-28 loss to Pitt. If you remember the chaos that was last year’s matchup between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets, Georgia won 44-42 in EIGHT overtimes. Let’s get into the betting market for this game and how to watch.

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech Prediction; Best Bet
The “Clean Old Fashioned Hate” rivalry now has a new name, the Atlanta Gridiron Classic.
This will be the 119th matchup between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets. Georgia holds a healthy lead in the head-to-head matchup, as they are 72-41-5 against Georgia Tech.
The last time the Yellow Jackets beat the Bulldogs was 2016, head coach Kirby Smart’s first season at Georgia.
Prediction: Georgia wins, but does not cover
Georgia will take this one home, as they are big favorites, but the Yellow Jackets keep it close enough to keep it within 16 points. Georgia is 5-5-1 against the spread this season, and typically isn’t a team that is dead set on covering the spread.
With that being said, the Bulldogs should have no issues taking care of business this afternoon to finish off the season. Georgia has its eyes on a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff, and a win against Georgia Tech would lock that up.
Best bet:Â Oscar Delp O 21.5 receiving yards (-114)
My best bet of the afternoon comes via a prop bet. Oscar Delp to have 22 or more receiving yards. Delp has hit this mark in two of the last three weeks, including a 41 and 36-yard effort against Mississippi State and Texas.
The reasoning behind this bet is that Delp can hit this number on just one reception.
