He looks to bounce back following defeat to Luke Humphries.

Littler is usually a fans’ favourite off the back of his sensational rise to the top of the sport.

But the Warrington teen’s allegiance to United will almost definitely work against him in Liverpool.

And he would have done himself no favours after appearing to mock Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp in March.

United had knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup in a dramatic 4-3 quarter-final match.

And afterwards, the darts star posted a meme online with the caption: “What is the difference between Luke Littler and Jurgen Klopp? Littler has more trebles!”

Littler deleted the post but Reds fans are unlikely to have forgotten.

The youngster shot to fame for his heroics in last year’s world championship, where he lost in the final to Humphries.

Inside Littler’s massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has since joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

And the two met again in the EO.bet European Darts Grand Prix, where history repeated itself.

It was the eighth clash between the two and Humphries prevailed.
