United have been slammed since with Jamie Carragher suggesting they are the worst-coached side in the Premier League.

Littler is a keen United fan and could consider the result karma as he loves to wind up opposition fans when they lose, particularly Liverpool.

The teen is quick to poke fun at the likes of Jurgen Klopp when results go against them, with Littler basking in the glory of United’s FA Cup win over Liverpool in March.

Liverpool’s hope of a Treble ended with that result, leading Littler to tweet: “What is the difference between Luke Littler & Jurgen Klopp?

“Littler has more trebles!”

The Premier League Darts league leader later deleted his tweet but he has not backed down and again mocked Liverpool following their Europa League exit to Atalanta.

Littler was booed on his visit to Liverpool for Night 13 of Premier League Darts.

He responded by cupping his ears to the crowd before making a 2-0 gesture with his hands as the Reds had just lost the Merseyside Derby to Everton.

Inside Littler’s massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has since joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

Littler then had the last laugh as he beat Gerwyn Price, Nathan Aspinall and Rob Cross on his way to winning the night, a result that helped him cement his place at the summit.

But he has been warned by fellow United fan and former darts world champion Michael Smith to reign in his trolling.

Smith said: “We say the right things to him. We don’t try to guide him off course obviously.

“If he’s doing something wrong, we say ‘listen calm that down’.

“We had a word with him the other week because he keeps winding Liverpool up like Klopp and everything.

“We said you’ve got Liverpool in two weeks, you’ve got to calm that down. We said you are going to get some stick on that stage.”
