Manchester United have put three players up for sale and are looking to move on one of Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir in the coming weeks.

While the English transfer window closed on Monday night, there are still a few avenues available for clubs looking to offload players.

The Saudi Arabian transfer window remains open until September 23, for example, while the Turkish window is open for another week.

Manchester United’s deadline-day deal for Senne Lammens means there is an unsubstantial four first-team goalkeepers now in Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Onana was United’s No. 1 last season but did little to suggest he justified that role for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Altay Bayindir was selected in goal for Manchester United’s first three Premier League games of the season but also failed to convince, making a huge blunder in the defeat to Arsenal and generally looking shaky.

United spent £18m to sign Belgian goalkeeper Lammens from Royal Antwerp but the 23-year-old is not expected to go straight into Amorim’s team.

As a result Lammens will likely play back-up to one of Onana or Bayindir this season, with the other set to be moved on, according to the Daily Mirror.

As well as Onana, Bayindir and Lammens, Manchester United also have Tom Heaton on their books.

Onana is set for an extended spell away from Old Trafford when the African Cup of Nations starts in December but four goalkeepers is still one too many.

The Red Devils will therefore try to offload either Onana or Bayindir to Turkey or Saudi Arabia, with interest already emerging from the former.

Turkish outlet Takvim claim Trabzonspor have made a loan offer for Onana, who cost Manchester United £47m back in 2023.

Trabzonspor are looking for a replacement for Ugurcan Cakir, who they sold to Galatasaray last week, and have also expressed interest in Manchester City’s Stefan Ortega.

While United are open to offers for Onana, it remains to be seen whether they agree a deal with Trabzonspor, while the 29-year-old’s stance on the move remains unknown.

As well as offloading a first-team goalkeeper, Manchester United are still exploring exit routed for Tyrell Malacia, who has been part of Amorim’s bomb squad at Old Trafford.

Malacia, who was signed by ex-United boss Erik ten Hag, almost joined Spanish side Elche on loan last week but the deal collapsed.

Amorim insisted earlier in the summer that any players who were not sold would be available to reintegrate into his first-team squad but ESPN say Malacia is on the club’s transfer list.

The other members of Amorim’s bomb squad – Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Antony – all secured moves away from the Theatre of Dreams.

Garnacho joined Chelsea for £40m, Sancho moved to Aston Villa on loan, Antony was sold to Real Betis and Rashford completed a dream loan move to Barcelona.

Manchester United have four points after three Premier League games and face Manchester City after the international break.
