Miami Heat Make New Tyler Herro Announcement Before 76ers Game

On Monday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Philadelphia 76ers in Florida.

The Heat are coming off a tough 135-118 loss to the Indiana Pacers (in Indianapolis).

Tyler Herro finished the game with 31 points, three rebounds and four assists while shooting 12/22 from the field and 5/13 from three-point range in 36 minutes of playing time.

For Monday’s game, the Heat have announced that Herro has been added to the injury report.

He is now probable.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Tyler Herro (neck) now listed probable Monday.”

Herro is in the middle of another very productive season with averages of 21.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range in 28 games.

The former Kentucky star has spent all seven years of his pro career in Miami.

Despite their loss to the Pacers, the Heat are still having a solid year with a 39-36 record in 75 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and 3-7 over their last ten).

At home, the Heat have gone 23-14 in 37 games.

During Herro’s tenure in Miami, they have made the NBA Finals two times.

That said, they are coming off a year where they got swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

76ers Ahead Of Miami Visit

The 76ers come into play as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 41-33 record in 74 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and have won seven out of their last ten).

Following Miami, the 76ers will play their next game on Wednesday when they visit the Washington Wizards.
