New York Knicks Announce Key Player Ruled Out For Rockets Game

On Tuesday night, the New York Knicks will be in Texas to play the Houston Rockets.

The Knicks are coming off a 111-100 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder (in Oklahoma).

Landry Shamet did not play in the game (and missed his fourth straight).

For Tuesday’s game, the Knicks have announced that they will remain without Shamet.

He will be ruled out for the fifth straight game.

New York Basketball wrote (via X): “Knicks say Deuce McBride QUESTIONABLE Tuesday vs Rockets – “pelvic; core muscle surgery” aka hernia surgery – after exiting last night’s game early when he got hurt—his first game back from 2 months out for said hernia surgery

Shamet is in his second year playing for New York.

So far, he has been a very strong addition to the team, and is averaging 9.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and and 38.8% from three-point range in 46 games.
