Packers Offense Gets Great News Ahead of Critical Game With Bears

The Green Bay Packers offense has been snakebitten by injuries for most of the 2025 season, but a critical piece of their attack will be back in action for arguably the biggest game of the year against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, December 7.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the return of wide receiver Jayden Reed, who has missed all but two games this season due to collarbone and foot issues that both required immediate surgery to repair.

“Ahead of Sunday’s game vs. the Bears, the Packers activated WR Jayden Reed off injured reserve,” Schefter posted to X on Saturday.

Reed led Green Bay in receiving yards in each of the previous two seasons and is a favorite target of quarterback Jordan Love. Beyond that, Reed is adept at gaining yards after the catch, which is an area where the Packers offense has struggled to produce since the season-ending knee injury to tight end Tucker Kraft.

Green Bay’s offense has gotten back on track over the past three weeks, averaging 27 points per contests over a three-game win streak, which came on the heels of back-to-back home losses to the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles. The Packers scored just 10 points per game in those defeats.

Reed’s return could not have come at a more opportune time, as Green Bay (8-3-1) hosts the Bears (9-3) at Lambeau Field in a game that will determine the NFC North Division leader.

Chicago will host the Packers at Soldier Field just 13 days later, and the two matchups together will have major implications for both the division and the NFC playoff picture as a whole, including potentially who captures the No. 1 overall seed in the conference and earns a bye week through Super Wildcard Weekend as well as home-field advantage guaranteed up until Super Bowl Sunday.

Green Bay is a seven-point favorite over Chicago in Week 14 as of Saturday afternoon, per DraftKings Sportsbook.

Micah Parsons Called Out Bears Ahead of Pivotal NFC North Matchup

Packers DE Micah Parsons brushed off concerns about cold weather on Sunday.

The rivalry between the Packers and the Bears hasn’t been all that competitive over the last several years, as Green Bay has dominated the series of late. That said, the stakes on Sunday are as high as they’ve been in recent memory.

Beyond that, edge-rusher Micah Parsons added fuel to the fire of the 90-year-old battle by calling out the Bears for “disrespect” during a media session Thursday.

“Rivalries are for the people, it’s for the fans. For me, it’s just going out there and just dominating. I just don’t like them because I just see like the disrespect,” Parsons said. “I play for respect. You know how to earn someone’s respect is beating the [expletive] out of them.”

“You gotta go out there and take it. Respect is something that’s earned, and these people wanna come here and beat us in our house,” Parsons added. “Someone comes and [expletives] on your lawn, what are you gonna say? So it’s a respect thing.”
