The Toronto Raptors wrapped up a blowout loss on the road against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, March 31.
As the Raptors struggled to overcome the Eastern Conference’s top team, the veteran star Scottie Barnes had a tough outing.
In 27 minutes against the Pistons, Barnes shot 2-8 from the field. He scored just five points. As a playmaker, Barnes thrived with 12 assists to four turnovers. On the boards, he only had one rebound.
The Raptors lost to the Pistons 127-116.
Now, the Raptors might lose Scottie Barnes for the second night of their back-to-back set.

The Raptors are exceeding expectations in 2025-2026.
Last year, many questioned their personnel decisions throughout the year, but they were making contender-caliber acquisitions with the future season in mind. The future is here, and the Raptors have gone from lottery team to playoff squad.
However, the Raptors have to protect their standing in the top six. That has been a difficult task as of late.
Recently, the red-hot Atlanta Hawks jumped the Raptors for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. Now, the Raptors are getting threatened by the Philadelphia 76ers, who are 1.0 games behind them.
Heading into the Kings matchup, the Raptors are 42-33. Meanwhile, the Kings are the last seed in the Western Conference with a 19-57 record. They’ve lost four straight games and are just 3-7 over the past 10 matchups.
Barnes’ availability for Toronto is a big question on Wednesday night. The Raptors and the Kings will battle it out at 8 PM ET.
