Roman Anthony finished Sunday’s loss with one walk, one run and one strikeout in four at-bats.
After the game, he made a very honest statement when he met with the media (h/t Ari Alexander of 7News Boston WHDH).
Anthony: “It’s just a tough stretch… We need to find a way to bring more energy and just be better. This is unacceptable. It’s unacceptable to the fans. It’s unacceptable to the standard that we set for ourselves.”
