SHEIN announced as 2024 Women’s Football Awards headline partner

The Women’s Football Awards brings together the biggest names from the women’s game

The countdown is on for the biggest awards night in the women’s football calendar.

The Women’s Football Awards will be held on 30 May, with stars including Mary Earps, Sam Kerr and Lauren James shortlisted for awards.

Jamie Carragher and Eni Aluko return to host the flagship event, which sees some of the biggest names in women’s football recognised for outstanding achievements after a monumental year for women’s football.

Global online fashion, beauty and lifestyle retailer SHEIN has today been announced as the 2024 headline partner, after supporting the inaugural ceremony in 2023.

Metro will be media partner for the awards for the second year, with former Lioness Eni Aluko and football legend and Sky Sports presenter Jamie Carragher as hosts for the ceremony.

‘The renewed partnership with the Women’s Football Awards underlines our commitment to celebrating the achievements of women and girls in the UK and beyond,’ said Cui He, Head of Europe at SHEIN.

‘This ceremony will be a true celebration of inspiring people and organisations and highlights the amazing contributions of those in the fastest-growing sport in the world. The Women’s Football Awards is a truly unique event and we are incredibly excited to have continued our partnership for 2024.’

The Women’s Football Awards brings together the biggest personalities from the women’s game for a major celebration of the sport and all of those contributing to its success. The ceremony recognises grassroots greatness as well as national and international superstars.

Award categories include Player of the Year, International Football Player of the Year, Club of the Year, Grassroots Initiative of the Year, Lifetime Achievement as well as a series of accolades for people and brands working behind the scenes to expand the reach of women’s football. The public were invited to vote on a shortlist, in full at the bottom of this article, ahead of the May 30 ceremony.
