SHEIN, the global online retailer, is returning as headline partner for the 2025 Women’s Football Awards, marking the third consecutive year of supporting the event.

This renewed partnership underscores SHEIN’s commitment to celebrating the achievements of women and girls in sport.

As Europe’s largest celebration of women’s football, the Women’s Football Awards, backed by Metro who are also returning for the third year as media partner, brings together the brightest stars of the sport and the most influential personalities.

This year’s ceremony will be hosted by BBC broadcaster Gabby Logan, football legend and Sky Sports presenter Jamie Carragher, and former Lioness Eni Aluko, who return to the stage to guide the evening’s celebrations of women’s football.

Shihong Liu Director, Europe Markets at SHEIN said: ‘We are extremely proud to be the founding partner of the Women’s Football Awards and are delighted to continue our partnership for the third consecutive year.

SHEIN is committed to supporting women’s empowerment projects and this ceremony is a true celebration of the inspiring women working in the fastest-growing sport in the world.’

The event attracts some of the biggest names in women’s football, along with celebrity fans, to honour the athletes, teams, and influencers shaping the game.

The awards also spotlight grassroots initiatives and those working behind the scenes to propel women’s football forward. Previous winners include Arsenal’s Alessia Russo, Chelsea star Keira Walsh, TV broadcaster Alex Scott, and England goalkeeper Mary Earps, with a range of categories that recognise achievements across the footballing landscape, from Player of the Year and Club of the Year to Grassroots Initiative of the Year and Lifetime Achievement.

‘Having SHEIN return as a partner is fantastic for the 2025 awards,’ said Eni Aluko. ‘Their support for women’s football and their dedication to celebrating female athletes since this event was launched is truly inspiring. This year’s ceremony will be an incredible celebration of all those who have contributed to the growth of the women’s game.’

SHEIN will also be playing a key role in dressing football stars and grassroots female footballers for the high-profile event. As part of the partnership, SHEIN will continue to support grassroots women’s football teams in the UK through a collaboration with Women In Football.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are all vying for the Club of the Year award, while football superstars including Bunny Shaw, Ella Toone, Frida Maanum and Vivianne Miedema are all in the running for the Player of the Year accolade.

SHEIN’s partnership with the Women’s Football Awards extends beyond the ceremony itself, as the brand continues its efforts to elevate women’s football at all levels.

The 2025 event promises to be another memorable evening, celebrating the diverse contributions of the individuals and teams who are taking women’’s football to new heights.

As well as Metro, other partners for the 2025 Women’s Football Awards include VISA, Morrisons, the Premier League, Linklaters, Panini and Scottish Power.
