The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a tough stretch lately, with the storied franchise losing three of their last five games. To make matters worse, four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers is dealing with an injury heading into Week 12’s matchup on the road at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears.
Rodgers is battling a left wrist injury, which has him listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bears. However, things appear to be trending in the right direction with the future Hall of Famer, as he participated in practice on Thursday, but was a limited participant.

According to Brooke Pryor of ESPN, Rodgers has been practicing with what appears to be some sort of stabilizer on his left arm.
Although Rodgers is still clearly bothered by the left wrist injury, it’s probably a good sign that he’s back on the practice field. The one-time Super Bowl champion is as tough as they come at the quarterback position, so there may be a decent chance of him getting back on the field to take on the Bears in Chicago on Sunday.
Another thing that might be driving Rodgers is the prospect of playing at Soldier Field against the Bears, which is a place where he had a lot of success while being the face of the Green Bay Packers franchise. It’ll also likely be his last time playing at the iconic stadium, so it would be safe to assume that he wants to play in this game.
Rodgers is 11-3 playing against the Bears on their home field in the Windy City. He also has a 24-5 overall record against Chicago, which is impressive, to say the least.
Steelers Face Tough Schedule Over the Final 7 Games

In Week 12, the Steelers will travel to face a resilient Bears squad led by Caleb Williams, who has won seven of their last eight games and currently sits atop the NFC North division standings, ahead of the Detroit Lions and Packers.
With the Baltimore Ravens surging with Lamar Jackson back in the fold and the Cincinnati Bengals potentially getting frisky if Joe Burrow returns this week, Pittsburgh has no margin of error moving forward, so they’ll need every win they can get to stay in first place in the AFC North.
After taking on the Bears in Chicago this Sunday, Rodgers and company will face the Buffalo Bills (Week 13), followed by a matchup with the Ravens (Week 14) in Baltimore and the Lions on the road at Ford Field in Week 16.
Those four matchups will be incredibly tough for the Steelers and will likely decide the winner of the NFC North division title, especially considering the regular season will conclude for the Steelers in the finale against the Ravens in Pittsburgh in Week 18.
It’ll be an interesting final stretch of the regular season for Mike Tomlin’s squad, which could go either way, with the team being playoff-bound or barely missing out on the postseason if things don’t go as planned for Pittsburgh.
