David Seaman ‘cannot see’ Manchester City being denied the Premier Leaguetrophy but has urged Arsenal to take the title race to the final day as ‘strange things can happen’.
City, chasing a record fourth successive league title, are one point behind Arsenal but will win the Premier League if they win their final three games.
Pep Guardiola’s side are away at Fulham this weekend before they make another trip to London to face Tottenham on Tuesday night. City host West Ham on the final day.
Seaman doubts Man City will drop any more points but has implored Arsenal to take care of their own business in case they are offered a chance to win the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
The Gunners, who finished second to City last term, visit struggling Manchester United on Sunday before finishing the season at home to Everton.
‘If I’m honest, I can’t see Man City not winning every game,’ Seaman, who won two Premier League titles at Arsenal, said on the Seaman Says podcast. ‘That’s my only problem.
‘The only hard game I see they’ve got is Spurs away and the form Spurs are in at the moment is as bad as Manchester United’s.

‘Arsenal need them to draw a game or obviously lose. If they draw a game, then you’re going to look at the goal difference. But I just can’t see them drawing a game.
‘Hopefully Arsenal beat Man United, which is still going to be a tough game, and then see what happens on the last day. Strange things can happen under that sort of pressure.’
One of Arsenal’s key players this season has been goalkeeper David Raya, who quickly displayed Aaron Ramsdale as Arteta’s No. 1 following his loan move from Brentford last summer.

Discussing Raya’s performances for his former club, Seaman said: ‘He’s had a great season. Especially as it’s his first season at Arsenal.
‘He’s come in under all that pressure with Aaron Ramsdale and then the pressure added to that with playing for Arsenal and he did find it a little bit difficult to start with, but he’s showing why Mikel Arteta keeps picking him.
‘He’s normally brilliant with his feet – that’s his stronger point. He’s also brilliant at claiming crosses and the defence is playing really well so it’s all adding together.

‘The other thing I’ve noticed about him is that he’s really calm. You never, ever see him flustered.
‘Even after making that mistake against Tottenham where the pass got cut out, he just put his hand up, took responsibility and then carried on and recovered brilliantly.’
It appears to be a two-horse race for the title but third-placed Liverpool can still technically win the Premier League if they win their final two games and watch Arsenal and Man City implode.
