The Premier League Supercomputer has made a new title prediction following Sunday’s dramatic 2-2 draw between Man City and Arsenal.
The Gunners thought they had sealed a vital three points at the Etihad, only for John Stones to equalise with the last kick of the game in the 98th minute.
The result means that Arsenal sit fourth in the Premier League table after their opening five games of the season on 11 points.
City are top of the league on 13 points while Liverpool and Aston Villa – second and third respectively – both have 12 points.

How does the Premier League Supercomputer work?
Bettingexpert’s Supercomputer, BETSiE, ran it’s algorithm to predict how the 2024-25 Premier League will pan out after this weekend’s results where 10-man Arsenal drew 2-2 against Manchester City at the Etihad.
The Supercomputer simulated the league seasons 100,000 times. The Aupercomputer takes into account all match results from last season (across all competitions), pre-season results and the current season as it progresses, projecting the the season based on both pre-season expectations and xG earned both for and against during the season.
It now also integrates team financial data and player values from Transfermarkt. This additional layer of data provides a more nuanced understanding of team capabilities and potential performance variations.
Supercomputer backs Man City to win Premier League title
Following the 2-2 draw between City and Arsenal, the Premier League Supercomputer is backing Pep Guardiola’s men to lift the 2024-25 trophy.
City are predicted to pick up 84.5 points with Arsenal tipped to once again finish second on 76.6 points.

The Supercomputer is backing Liverpool to finish third on 75.4 points with Chelsea set to take the fourth and final Champions League spot with 67.3 points.
Manchester United are predicted to finish fifth and miss out on the Champions League with Aston Villa sixth, Tottenham seventh and Newcastle United eighth.
Jamie Carragher backs Man City to win Premier League title
Liverpool legend and football pundit Jamie Carragher has also tipped City to beat Arsenal in the race for the 2024-25 Premier League title.
Asked for his take on the title race after this weekend’s Etihad thriller, Carragher said on a Sky Sports podcast: ‘I still just think Man City have got a little bit more. When I look at the squads and the attacks… Kevin De Bruyne didn’t play today.
‘They’ve got a bit more in the attacking areas, I think they’ve got a bit more. I just think Man City have the edge.’
