The Toronto Blue Jays are signing seven-year MLB veteran pitcher Austin Voth, according to MLBTradeRumors.com. It is a minor-league deal, as Voth has already appeared in a Blue Jays minor-league game.
Voth, 33, last pitched for the Seattle Mariners in 2024. He appeared in 68 games and has pitched for three MLB teams over his career. The Chicago White Sox dumped Austin Voth at the end of spring camp.
His career earned run average sits at 4.70 over 360.1 innings. His last stint in MLB wasn’t terrible for Seattle. He pitched 61 innings and boasted a 3.69 ERA as a reliever.

Blue Jays to Sign Austin Voth
If Austin Voth makes it to the big-league level with the Blue Jays, it will be his fourth MLB organization he’s pitched for.
Over parts of five seasons with the Washington Nationals, Austin Voth made 22 starts and pitched 180.1 innings with the club. He boasted an ERA of 5.70 from 2018 to 2022.Â
Toronto may not have much room for Voth in its pitching staff, but it’s a good depth add. Voth brings good big-league experience, but his time in MLB might be past him.

More on Austin Voth Signing/Career
MLBTradeRumors.com’s Steve Adams was first on the news, and provided some insight on Austin Voth’s MLB career:
“Voth has picked up more than five years of major league service time, dating back to his 2018 MLB debut. Heâs a former fifth-round pick whoâs pitched in part of seven big league seasons. In 360 1/3 innings as a major leaguer, Voth has a 4.70 ERA, a 22.1% strikeout rate and an 8.3% walk rate. Those are roughly league-average rate stats, and it bear mentioning that a good portion of Vothâs most prominent struggles came early in his career with the Nats.”
Voth is attempting to make a return to MLB after spending 2025 in Nippon Professional Baseball, where he made 22 starts.
